Following a Notice of Motion from Mayor Adam Belot at Council’s Ordinary Meeting this week, Council has decided to pause plans for public Electric Vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure in the Shire.

Council has resolved that in accordance with s161(6) of the Water Supply (Safety & Reliability) Act 2008 to amend the Declared Service Area for the water supply and sewerage networks.
The timber Pedestrian Bridge at Williamson Creek on the Scenic Highway has been deemed unsafe for public use and will be closed early November to ensure the safety of community members.
Works are scheduled to commence in October as part of a new development on a section of Tanby Road, which includes shoulder closure and periodical lane closures along Tanby Road.
