Our Healthy and Active Programs aims to encourage a vibrant community where all residents and visitors are empowered to participate in regular physical activity and healthy lifestyles.
We recognise that achieving our vision requires collaboration across sectors and stakeholders and our programs will be delivered through partnerships with key government and non-government stakeholders.

Livingstone Shire Council is proud to deliver the Healthy & Active Livingstone: Let’s Move program – a free initiative designed to support women and girls in our community to move more, feel better, and live well.
This program is specifically tailored for women and girls who are currently not physically active, offering an encouraging environment to try new activities, develop long-term healthy habits, and boost overall wellbeing. Delivered in partnership with local health and wellness providers, the program includes a variety of physical and wellness-based activities, supported by educational resources and guided workshops.

Participation in this program is free, but spaces are limited. Priority is given to individuals who are new to the program and ready to fully engage with all aspects.

The Queensland Government has provided $25,000 to Livingstone Shire Council to deliver this program, enabling Queenslanders to participate in sport and recreation activities.
