Livingstone Shire Council's Youth Services provide a range of services to the young people of Livingstone Shire (aged 12 to 25) to increase young peoples opportunities within their community.

What do we offer?
Information, Advice and Referral.
Youth Services can assist young people to find the support they seek locally, whether it be related to school, housing, relationships, boredom or stress.
We can connect young people with locally based;
- Sports and recreation activities
- Arts and cultural opportunities
- Volunteering opportunities
Youth Services can provide individual case management for young people who like to further develop their life skills, coping skills, social skills and self esteem.
This service is available to those aged 12 to 18, living in Yeppoon or Emu Park and at risk of disconnection.

Youth Services organises a variety of opportunities within the community that appeal to young people to reduce boredom and increase the connection between young people and their community.
Are you aged between 12 to 24 years? Would you like to have a say in what happens in your community? Are you interested in meeting other like-minded young people? Then the Youth Action Group could be just for you!

The 2018 Livingstone Youth Needs Analysis was commissioned for the purpose of providing Council with key demographic data, trends, issues, opportunities and other critical information about young people who reside in our Shire.
Council’s Community Partnerships Unit are using this report to aid future planning.

Livingstone Shire Council encourages feedback to continuously improve service delivery. If a complaint is made, services to young people will not be removed and we will continue to work with clients in a respectful manner to ensure young people continue to be supported in achieving their goals.
