Mayor and Councillors

Council is made up of the Mayor and six Councillors who are elected by the community every four years to represent the views of residents within the shire.

The principal task of the Mayor and Councillors is to ensure the smooth running of the shire and to ensure the social, economic, environmental and cultural wellbeing of the community, in accordance with the Local Government Act 2009 and Council's Corporate Plan(PDF, 10MB).
