An application to volunteer does not cover work experience, student placement, employment programs, advisory or consultation services to Council or tasks associated with a disaster event.

Expression of Interest for 2026 Volunteer in Livingstone Handbook
The ‘Volunteer in Livingstone’ handbook showcases the abundance of local community and sporting groups working to achieve great outcomes! We are now seeking information to include in the 2026 edition. Submissions are due by 31 December 2025 and the 2026 booklet will be published in February 2026.
This resource will work to connect people to community by:
- Providing information to residents looking to get involved in their community, so they can link with a group that is suitable for them
- Increasing volunteers and members for Community & Sporting Groups as a result of people knowing what opportunities exist
Being involved in your community offers numerous benefits, including enhanced well-being, personal growth, and a stronger sense of belonging, while also contributing to a more vibrant and positive environment for everyone!
