Councillor Rothery is passionate about promoting, yet maintaining the lifestyle we love so much across our diverse region. He understands that Livingstone is just as much rural as it is coastal and voters have put their trust in him to represent them in which they can be assured of accessibility, transparency and straight talk. As a born and bred local, Councillor Rothery is proud to call Hidden Valley home. He is blessed with four beautiful children and his wife Connie of 19 years. They have two small local businesses, Clinique Cosmedica and Rothery Care. Councillor Rothery has had a successful career as a professional footballer, carpenter, and miner, but none of those careers have been as rewarding as the roles he’s had with child safety. Caring for young indigenous and disadvantaged children ensures a brighter future for them and their families. As a Councillor, he brings realism, consciousness and the compassion needed to acknowledge the struggles the cost of living is having on his constituents.
