Adoption of Minor Amendments (Zone Changes) to the Livingstone Planning Scheme 2018

Notice is hereby given that Livingstone Shire Council on 18 February 2025 resolved to adopt minor (zone change) planning scheme amendments. Attachment 1 to the council meeting report details the land subject to the changes. The zone changes occur within the localities of Pacific Heights, Taroomball, Lammermoor, Zilzie, Rockyview, and Inverness.

The commencement date for the amendment is 2 May 2025.

There have been two (2) previous amendments to the Livingstone Planning Scheme 2018. Those amendments created Versions 2 and 3. The minor (zone change) amendments are incorporated into Version 4 of the Livingstone Planning Scheme 2018.

The purpose and general effect of the minor amendment is to:

  • make zone changes to reflect existing and current development approvals; and
  • update underlying cadastral zone maps.

There is a requirement for council to publish a public notice of the amendments in accordance with Schedule 5 of the Ministers Guidelines and Rules .
