New look rates and water usage notices coming soon
From 1 August 2025, Livingstone Shire Council will issue new look rates and water usage notices.
The notices have been redesigned to make them clearer, cleaner and easier to read, helping ratepayers quickly find the information they need. The previous layout was considered dated and ready for a refresh, and the updates were completed in‑house by Council staff.
The new layout does not change how rates or charges are calculated. It simply presents the same information in a more user‑friendly format.
Ratepayers who have registered for eNotices will start receiving their notices from 1 August. Notices sent via post are expected to arrive in letterboxes around 11 August, with payment due by 10 September 2025.
To help ratepayers understand the new notices, Council has created online explainers showing each section with easy‑to‑follow descriptions.
