Make some special memories with your kids these school holidays and join in the fun of Winter on the Capricorn Coast!
Council is inviting families to take part in a jam-packed season of fun with the return of the Winter on the Capricorn Coast program – a vibrant calendar of free and low-cost activities designed to keep kids engaged and the community connected these school holidays.
From hands-on workshops and reptile encounters to energetic sports sessions and live local music, there’s something for all ages and interests across the Shire.
Recreation and Culture Co-Chair, Councillor Andrea Friend, said the program is a wonderful way for families to explore their community, try something new, and enjoy quality time together.
“Winter on the Capricorn Coast is about celebrating our region’s incredible lifestyle, natural spaces, and creative community,” Cr Friend said.
“We’re so proud to offer a huge range of activities – from silly stage shows and inflatable play worlds to outdoor movies, music, and cultural celebrations. There truly is something for everyone, and we encourage families to come along and make the most of this special program.”
