Community Meetings

  • We encourage everyone participating in activities or groups at the Community Centre to come along to our bi-monthly User group meetings. Everyone is welcome.

    2022 Meeting Dates: 17 August & 19 October
    Held from 2.00pm - 3.00pm in Room C, The Community Centre (80 John Street, Yeppoon)

    Rooms at the Community Centre are available for hire to individuals; community groups; clubs and associations; government agencies; businesses and visiting outreach services (not for profit).

    There is also a public noticeboard for promoting community events and activities. Fees and charges may apply.

  • We encourage all providers who deliver a service on the Capricorn Coast to attend network meetings held quarterly. 

    2022 Meeting Dates: 10 August & 9 November 2022 
    Held from 2.00pm to 3.30 pm at Yeppoon Town Hall, Normanby Street Yeppoon

    The chair is rotated around the services with the chair for the next meeting identified at the end of each meeting.  It is the individual member’s responsibility to keep any notes from the meetings. View the Terms of Reference here.

  • The Capricorn Coast Domestic and Family Violence Prevention Working Group is an initiative of the Livingstone Shire Council and the Capricorn Coast branches of the Queensland Police and meets quarterly.

    Starting at 3.00pm in Room B at the Community Centre, 80 John Street Yeppoon

  • The iCare Community Project helps to support local men, women and children currently experiencing significant financial stress. The Community Centre extends an invitation to contributors, interested persons and service providers of the ICare Community Project to the quarterly review meeting.
