Join us for a celebration of artistic alchemy — where the familiar becomes unexpected, and the ordinary transforms into wonder.
This vibrant showcase brings together 14 talented local artists who have each taken the theme “Out of the Blue” and spun it into something astonishing.
Expect the unexpected as familiar shades and subjects transform into surprising, imaginative creations across more than 30 works.
Visitors can expect to discover artworks of various mediums and styles. Artists have combined realism, impressionism and the wistful with oil, acrylic, watercolour or pencil creating a plethora of unexpected and pleasurable results.
The effect of blue on textiles, fibre arts and ceramics is explored with delightful results and expressive sculptures will prod your imagination with a visual hit. It’s free to attend and open to the public, making it accessible for everyone to enjoy.
The "Out of the Blue: Alchemy of the Unexpected" exhibition runs daily 10am – 4pm, from Monday 30 June - to Saturday 26 July.
