The Role

Livingstone Shire Council is seeking to recruit a motivated Trades Assistant to join it multi-disciplined Facilities Maintenance team. You will join a team which prides itself on delivering high-quality construction and maintenance projects and strongly focused on the provision of customer excellence. 

The successful candidate will assist with setting up and clean-up of job sites, using tools and materials, and performing basic construction and maintenance tasks under general supervision of a tradesperson. Skills, Experience and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will have: 

  • Construction Industry Induction (White Card);
  • Possess and maintain a current manual motor vehicle driver licence.
  • Possess or have the ability to obtain a Working at Heights Certificate.
