Mayor's Christmas Giving Tree Appeal
The Mayor’s Christmas Giving Tree Appeal is back for 2025! This initiative invites the Livingstone community to help brighten Christmas for families doing it tough by donating unwrapped non-perishable food and toiletries. Donations will be included in hampers prepared by the ICare Community Project volunteers at the Yeppoon Community Centre, who work tirelessly to support local families experiencing financial hardship.

To ensure hampers are packed and delivered in time for Christmas, donations are accepted until Friday, 28 November 2025. This year, the appeal focuses on essential items to reach as many families as possible—please, no toys or gifts.
