Council advises that Level 3 (top level) of the Yeppoon Town Centre multi-storey carpark was closed from 10.30pm on 23 February 2026 and is no longer accessible to vehicles or pedestrians.
The closure follows several recent incidents involving people accessing the outer edge of the top level and placing themselves at risk of serious injury.
Levels 1 and 2 remain open and available as normal.
Council is investigating longer-term safety solutions.
Level 3 will reopen during major events when additional planning and monitoring measures can be put in place.
Council appreciates the community’s understanding while this matter is addressed.
