The Quizzical Mr Jeff brings circus magic to Yeppoon

Published on 21 September 2026

Step into the wonderfully weird world of The Quizzical Mr Jeff at Yeppoon Town Hall this October for a captivating fusion of circus, magic, illusion and comedy.

Brought to you by Livingstone Shire Council, this versatile circus showman and magician Jeff Robinson, aka The Quizzical Mr Jeff, will amaze audiences with incredible physical control, whimsical illusions and mind-bending magic.

Mayor Adam Belot said the show would provide families with a unique and entertaining experience these school holidays.

“The Quizzical Mr Jeff is the kind of show that sparks wonder and imagination while keeping audiences laughing and amazed,” Mayor Belot said.

“With incredible circus skills, magic, comedy and plenty of surprises, it’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy a fun-filled performance together.”

Set to orchestral music with minimal spoken word, The Quizzical Mr Jeff is a visual feast of dazzling circus feats, playful comedy and enchanting magic.

Watch as 11 circus hoops come to life in mesmerising mandalas and living geometry, before Mr Jeff delivers a surreal and side-splitting finale by climbing inside a six-foot giant balloon.

The award-winning production has won Weekly Best Circus at Perth Fringe World and the Artistic Excellence Award at the Melbourne Magic Festival.

Suitable for children aged five and over, the 60-minute show will be held at Yeppoon Town Hall, 25 Normanby Street, on Saturday, 3 October 2026, from 1pm til 2pm.
