Shop Local Livingstone & Win Campaign Returns to Reward Local Shoppers
Published on 20 May 2026
Council is encouraging residents to support local businesses and go in the draw to win an incredible prize bundle as part of the returning Shop Local Livingstone & Win campaign.
Now running until 30 June 2026, the campaign is designed to boost foot traffic and drive spending across local businesses during the end-of-financial-year period.
Mayor Adam Belot said the initiative is a simple but effective way to celebrate local businesses while rewarding residents for shopping close to home.
“Every time you choose to shop locally, you are investing in our community,” Mayor Belot said.
“You are supporting local jobs, helping small businesses thrive, and keeping money circulating within Livingstone Shire.
“This campaign is a great incentive for residents to explore the fantastic businesses we have across the Capricorn Coast and enjoy the chance to win a major prize made up of vouchers, products and experiences generously donated by participating businesses.”
To enter, shoppers simply need to:
- Spend $50 or more at any participating business.
- Scan the campaign QR code or visit the online entry page.
- Upload a copy of their receipt.
Each valid receipt submitted equals one entry, meaning the more residents shop local, the more chances they have to win.
The major prize includes a collection of vouchers, products, and experiences from participating businesses with a total value of $800, including:
- $250 voucher from Studio Pilates Yeppoon
- $60 voucher from 1770 Gelato Co Yeppoon
- 1kg bag of Keppel Bay Coffee
- A gift hamper valued at $50 from Yeppoon Central News
- $50 vouchers from Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant, Ofishal Beachclub, Secret Garden Café, Sethros Texas BBQ, Drapes Deli, Nellie’s, Wendy’s Yeppoon, and The Alley Yeppoon
The winner will be drawn on 1 July 2026.
Mayor Belot said Council was proud to partner with local businesses to deliver initiatives that strengthen the region’s economy.
“Our local businesses are the heart of our community and campaigns like this are a fantastic way to encourage residents to discover something new while supporting the businesses that support our region,” Mayor Belot said.
“Whether it’s enjoying a coffee, dining out, treating yourself, or picking up everyday essentials, every purchase made locally makes a real difference.”
Participating businesses include 1770 Gelato Co Yeppoon, The Alley Yeppoon, Yeppoon Central News, Wendy’s Yeppoon Central, Keppel Bay Coffee, Drapes Deli, Nellie’s, Sethros Texas BBQ, Secret Garden Café, Studio Pilates Yeppoon, Vue Wine Bar & Restaurant and Ofishal Beachclub.
