Council is inviting the community to lace up their runners, roll out the yoga mats, and join the Livingstone Health and Wellness Expo when it returns to Beaman Park, Yeppoon, on Saturday 13 September 2025

Following the success of last year’s inaugural event, the 2025 Expo will once again showcase over 50 stallholders offering health, fitness, and wellbeing opportunities for all ages and abilities.

Recreation and Culture Portfolio Co-Lead, Councillor Lance Warcon, said the free, family-friendly event is the perfect chance for locals to discover new ways to live well.

“The Health and Wellness Expo is all about connecting people with the incredible range of services, programs, and activities available right here in Livingstone,” Cr Warcon said.

“From interactive educational, wellness activities and fitness challenges to health screenings, kids’ activities, competitions, and giveaways, there’s something for everyone.

“Whether you’re looking for professional advice or simply curious about trying something new, this event is your one-stop-shop for health and wellbeing inspiration.”

A full program of presentations will run throughout the morning, with 33 stallholders sharing their insights or leading a demonstration.

Visitors can also take part in the Health Passport Game hosted by CQ Health and My Health for Life — collect stamps by visiting participating stalls for the chance to win fantastic prizes donated by local stallholders.

Local exhibitors are equally excited to be part of the event.

Clinic Partner at Entirely Health, Zac Ramsey, said his team looks forward to engaging with the community.

“Our team will be at the expo to discuss how small changes to your diet and exercise can significantly improve your health,” Mr Ramsey said.

“The expo is a great opportunity for us to engage with the community and showcase how allied health support can improve long-term wellbeing.

“We’re passionate about empowering people to take charge of their wellbeing through practical, evidence-based solutions.”

Director of Vidafit, Clint Withers, said the Expo is a highlight on the local health and fitness calendar.

“We’re very excited to be back again this year,” Mr Withers said.

“It is a great way to share our mission to help improve the health of our local community. The expo is a great opportunity for us to connect with, encourage and support Livingstone locals to live a fit, healthy and happy life.”
