Council Festive Season Operating Hours

Please note that Council’s Customer Support Centres will close from 12pm Wednesday, 24 December 2025 and reopen on Monday, 5 January 2026. The Yeppoon Community Centre will close at 12pm Friday, 19 December and reopen at 9am Monday, 5 January 2026.

Our 1300 790 919 number is available 24/7 for urgent matters relating to water leaks, animal incidents, and emergency road issues.

All waste facilities will be closed on Christmas Day, Thursday 25 December, and operate regular hours on other days. Kerbside bins are collected daily, including public holidays, with Christmas Day collections commencing at 5am. Visit Waste Facilities for full opening times.

The Yeppoon Lagoon pool will remain open throughout the festive season, including Christmas Day.
