GKI Trail run by Fitzroy Frogs Triathlon - a wonderful event where people can walk / jog / run around the beautiful Great Keppel Island. There are different distances to cater for most people, ranging from the 9km Enticer through to the 27km Full Keppel.
This is an event that is growing year on year, attracting people from far and wide to the Capricorn Coast and specifically GKI. This event provides a big boost to the island and ferry companies, with extra ferries put on to cater for the number of entrants. Numbers are expected to be approx 350.
Our club was successful in obtaining an LCS / Bendigo Bank grant to assist in purchase of replacement timing chips for this event.
