Emu Park Oktoberfest brings a taste of Bavaria to the Capricorn Coast with a lively day of music, dancing, traditional German food and imported German biers.

Bell Park comes alive with the sounds of live music and the unmistakable atmosphere of Oktoberfest. Traditional favourites and contemporary hits keep the music flowing, while the dance floor fills with people embracing the Bavarian spirit.

Energetic performers Safe Sax deliver an infectious mix of music and entertainment, from traditional favourites to contemporary songs. Local favourites Dawn and the Sax, featuring Peter Fields on guitar, add their own blend of rhythm and soul with R and B, jazz, pop and rock.

Traditional German flavours are another highlight. Sizzling sausages, warm delicious pretzels, crispy kartoffelpuffers and apfel strudel provide a taste of Bavaria, complemented by imported German biers.

Lederhosen and dirndls add to the colourful atmosphere, with plenty of opportunities for dancing, laughter and good old-fashioned fun.

There is no need to travel to Munich. Emu Park Oktoberfest delivers a genuine Bavarian inspired experience right on the Capricorn Coast.

Location

The Oktoberfest website includes event rules and transport schedules. Please plan transport and accommodation beforehand for a safe and enjoyable experience. No BYO alcohol permitted due to strict licensing laws. Sealed water and approved diabetic drinks allowed. Minors to vacate premises by 6pm
