Join the Capricorn Coast Indigenous Mob, as we come together to celebrate NAIDOC Week 2026 — honoring 50 Years of strength, culture, and connection. Enjoy a morning filled with face painting, traditional dancing, a community walk, official ceremony, entertainment, market stalls, and family-friendly activities at the Yeppoon Foreshore.
Everyone is welcome to walk alongside community and celebrate culture together.
Program:
9am - 10:30am: Meet at the station before the walk (bring the kids to get their face painted. Smoking ceremony and traditional dancing).
10:30am - walk to Foreshore
11:15am - OFFICIAL CEREMONY - Yeppoon Beachfront Amphitheater
12:00pm onwards - sausage sizzle, entertainment, petting zoo and market stalls at the Yeppoon foreshore
Meet at The Station anywhere between 9am and 10:30pm, prior to the walk! Activities and celebrations ocuring at the beachfront from 11am.
