Leading Local - Building the Future of Small Business is a free, relaxed evening event designed specifically for small and family businesses across the Capricorn Coast and broader Livingstone Shire.

Held during Queensland Small Business Month 2026, this event brings together local business owners, community leaders and decision‑makers to connect, share ideas and explore how stronger networking and collaboration can support sustainable regional business growth.

What to Expect

This event is an opportunity to celebrate local business and come together as a business community, while meeting, connecting and networking with fellow business owners and local leaders.

The evening will open with a brief welcome from the Mayor, before moving straight into an informal panel discussion featuring a small group of respected local business and community leaders. The focus is on open conversation, shared experience and practical insights.
