Community Support Grants and Sponsorship

Council offers funding and sponsorship opportunities to support projects and events that strengthen our community. Whether you're planning a community project, delivering an event or looking for assistance with venue hire, there's a funding stream to suit your initiative.

Community Projects Fund

  • Provides grants of up to $5,000 for projects that deliver lasting benefits to the Livingstone Shire community.
  • Open to eligible not-for-profit organisations, sporting clubs and community groups.
  • Funding can support projects such as equipment purchases, facility improvements, accessibility upgrades and community programs.
  • Applications are invited through two funding rounds each year.

Community Events Fund

  • Supports community events that encourage participation, celebrate local culture and strengthen community connections.
  • Offers both financial sponsorship for eligible events and in-kind sponsorship through waived or reduced Council venue and site hire fees.
  • Open to eligible not-for-profit organisations, sporting clubs, community groups and event organisers delivering community benefit.
  • Financial sponsorship is offered through funding rounds, while in-kind sponsorship applications are accepted year-round (subject to available funding).
