LoopedIn Councils App FAQs
What is happening to the Livingstone Waste Wise App?
The Livingstone Waste Wise App is transitioning to the LoopedIn Councils App, with the look and functionality remaining largely the same for users.
The main change is behind the scenes, where two existing systems have been merged into a single more streamlined database to improve accuracy and reliability.
Why is Council introducing a new App?
The new LoopedIn Councils App improves how waste services are managed behind the scenes by combining multiple systems into one. This helps ensure:
- More accurate information
- Fewer discrepancies
- A better overall user experience for residents
What are the benefits of the new app?
The LoopedIn Councils App offers:
- A single, streamlined system for waste services
- Improved accuracy of bin collection day information

- A more reliable and efficient service overall
Will my bin collection day change?
No, your bin collection day will remain the same. The new app simply provides a more accurate and reliable way to access this information.
What has changed behind the scenes?
Previously, bin collection data and waste voucher information were managed across separate systems. The new app combines these into one central database, which:
- Reduces duplication
- Minimises errors
- Ensures consistency across services
Is there any cost to ratepayers for this change?
No. There is no cost to residents or ratepayers for downloading or using the new LoopedIn Councils App.
The app continues to be delivered by the same developer, with the transition and backend improvements implemented at no additional cost to Council or the community.

Waste eVoucher FAQs
How do I get my eVouchers?
Download your eVouchers from the LoopedIn Councils App (available to download via the App Store/Google Play) using your Assessment Number and Property Address as printed on your General Rates Notice.
If you are a Landlord, please pass on the eVouchers to your tenants. This will assist them to keep your property clean and tidy.
If I rent, how do I get my eVouchers?
Waste eVouchers are only issued to property owners. You will need to contact the Property Owner or Real
Estate Agent and request them to send/email a screenshot of the eVouchers through to you.
What if I am unable to contact my landlord? Under the Privacy Act, Council is only able to provide eVouchers to the Property Owner.
What do the eVouchers entitle me to?
eVouchers are valid for the disposal of self-hauled general domestic waste and uncontaminated green waste at all Livingstone Shire Council Waste Facilities. (Byfield and Stanage Bay Transfer Stations do not accept green waste)
Commerical customers cannot use eVouchers and relevant charges apply, as per Council’s Fees and Charges.
My property is Vacant land, do I get eVouchers?
Under Council’s Waste Voucher Procedure, adopted on 19 April 2022, only eligible ratepayers with habitable dwellings on their properties will be issued with the eVoucher entitlement.
How do I use my eVouchers?
When arriving at an LSC Waste Facility, show the attendant your eVoucher to be scanned. The attendant will assess your load and advise of the eVouchers required:
- 1 eVoucher - sedan, station wagon, green waste load
- 2 eVouchers - trailer, ute, flat-top, van
- 3 eVouchers - large trailers, small trailer or ute fitted with load enhancers/extended sides
This is a guide only and the attendant’s decision is final.
Are there types of waste I can’t use eVouchers for?
eVouchers cannot be used for the disposal of tyres, mattresses, asbestos, solar panels, refrigerators, air conditioners, regulated waste or commercial waste. These items will continue to incur a cost for disposal as per Council’s Fees and Charges.
Can multiple property owners use the same eVouchers on their device?
All property owners can download the eVouchers onto their individual devices, however, each eVoucher can only be used once.
I have used all my eVouchers, how do I get more?
Council allocates ten (10) eVouchers per household each financial year. Your next allocation of eVouchers can be downloaded from 1 July onwards. If you run out of allocated eVouchers, all loads going forward will need to be paid for.
I have just purchased a property in Livingstone, how do I get my eVouchers?
You can contact Council to lodge a Customer Request. A Waste Services team member will calculate the number of eVouchers available for the remainder of the year on a pro rata basis and advise you how to navigate the next steps via the App. You may need to provide proof of ownership.
What if I own multiple properties?
You can download ten (10) eVouchers for each property that you own, using the unique assessment number and property address located on your General Rates Notice for each property.
I don’t know how many eVouchers I have left?
You can check your eVoucher usage history via the LoopedIn Councils App, using your unique Assessment Number and Property Address.
What should I do with the recyclables in my load?
Recyclables must be separated from your load and disposed of for free at the Landfill or Transfer Station prior to using eVouchers. This helps to reduce recyclable materials being sent to the Landfill unnecessarily, and also wasting your eVouchers! Learn how to Prepare for your Visit to a Livingstone Waste Disposal Facility here.
Can I trade my eVouchers in if I don’t use them?
eVouchers cannot be redeemed or traded as a form of payment for other Council services.
