Rate payers can choose to receive their rate and water usage notices via email. With the increased cost of postage and longer delivery times, this service provides a faster, more reliable, and environmentally friendly alternative to paper copies.

BPAY View

 

You can receive your rate notice online through your internet banking provider using BPAY View®.

By registering for BPAY View® you will be able to receive, pay and store your rate notices in your online banking.

  1. Log into your online banking account.
  2. Look for the BPAY View® or View Bills section.
  3. Register to receive your Livingstone Shire Council Rate Notice
You will need the following information from your rates notice:
  • BPAY Biller Code and BPAY Reference Number (located on the bottom left hand corner of your rates notice)
  • Name on Bill: You will need to enter your name EXACTLY as shown on your rate notice, e.g. 
    • A B McDonald and C D McDonald     or
    • ABCDE Pty Ltd

Once registered, when you log into your internet banking, your rate notice will be available for you to view and pay.

It is your responsibility to be aware that your rate notice is available and due for payment.

How do I change my registered email address?

Simply resubmit theonline registration formwith your updated email address.

 

I have sold my property. How do I stop getting emails?

Council is advised of property ownership changes by the Department of Resources. We will update contact details as these changes come through.

 

I have just bought a property and haven't got a Property number. How can I receive my rate notice electronically?

Once property ownership details have been received by the Department of Resources and updated by Council, you will receive a letter from Council that has the information required to register to receive your rates notice via email.

 

I recently signed up for electronic notices. Why did my notice arrive through the old method?

The most likely reason is that you registered for email delivery during Council's rates generation process and your notice/s had already been printed or issued. Your next rate notice will be sent via email if the registration form was completed correctly. 

If you did not receive a confirmation email when registering, you can contact Customer Support to check your current delivery method.

What will my email address be used for?

You will receive official Council messages, including your electronic rates notice and reminders.

 

How do I change to another communication method (BPAY View or post)?

Council offers many different ways to receive your Rates notice. Signing up for BPAYView will automatically cancel your email delivery of rates notices. If you would like to receive your rates notices by post (Australia Post), you can cancel email delivery but resubmitting the online registration formwhile selecting the "Cancel email delivery" option on the form
