Livingstone Shire Council is excited to announce the launch of Snap Send Solve, a popular online and mobile reporting tool now used by councils across Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

For the first time, this easy-to-use app will be available to residents, visitors, and businesses across Livingstone Shire—helping keep our shared spaces safe, clean and great to be in.

Mayor Adam Belot said the launch marks a positive step in strengthening the partnership between Council and the community. “We know how much Livingstone Shire residents care for their community and the shared spaces we all enjoy,” Mayor Belot said.

“This free app will make it even easier for people to report anything that needs attention, helping us respond quickly and continue improving the accessibility and liveability of our region. “Council’s introduction of Snap Send Solve reflects significant growth in community reporting and a strong desire from residents to play an active role in caring for their local surroundings.

“With one simple snap, users can report issues such as damaged footpaths, fallen branches, vandalism, missing signs, park, or playground issues, and much more. “The report goes straight to the appropriate team, making it quicker and easier for Council to respond.

“From fixing potholes, cleaning up fallen trees, mowing overgrown grass, barking dog requests, street signage issues, or tidying up public rubbish bin sites, with your help, we’re always in the know. Because when we all lend a hand, good stuff gets done.

“While the app has been used across our community for some time, Council has now partnered with Snap Send Solve to introduce advanced integration feature for managing end to end customer requests to deliver an even better user experience.”

These enhancements include:
• Optimised report handling: Streamlined, staged processing of incoming reports to strengthen internal workflows.
• Improved first-point resolution: More accurate reporting to help operations teams address issues correctly the first time.
• A more seamless customer experience: Clearer communication and smoother transitions from lodgement through to resolution.
• Real-time insights and analytics: Live feedback and tailored data to support more informed planning and service delivery.
• Stronger support for service and operations: Enhanced accuracy and improved reporting tools for customer service staff and infrastructure teams alike.

Snap Send Solve is widely used to support community engagement campaigns, making it easier than ever for people to take part in shaping and improving the places they live, work and visit.

“Community reporting is growing because our community genuinely wants to improve the spaces we all share,” Mayor Belot added.

“This tool gives everyone a simple way to be part of the solution.

“Residents are encouraged to give it a try and join thousands of others helping make their communities better—one snap at a time.”

The Snap Send Solve app is free to download and available now.
