About the Role:
As the Coordinator Urban Operations, you will:
- Lead the planning, management and delivery of civil construction and maintenance programs.
- Oversee end‑to‑end project delivery, including estimating, procurement, construction supervision and as‑constructed documentation.
- Ensure compliance with legislation, WHS requirements and quality assurance standards.
- Apply strong project management methodology to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and to specification.
- Build positive relationships with internal stakeholders, contractors and the community.
- Champion Council’s Values, ensure a safe work environment, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
What You Will Bring:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) and extensive relevant industry experience;
- Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) or ability to obtain;
- Demonstrated experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong knowledge of civil construction across roads, stormwater, water & sewer networks, and related infrastructure; and
- White Card and current C‑Class Driver Licence.
