Restart a Heart Day (Thursday 16 October 2025) is about raising awareness of CPR and defibrillators — two simple actions that can double or even triple someone’s chance of survival after a sudden cardiac arrest.
SLSQ will be hosting a FREE Community Activation at Emu Park Surf Life Saving Club, where anyone can just drop by, have a go, and learn the basics of compression-only CPR and how to use a Defib.
No need to register, just call in and see the team between 10am - 1pm.
This day is about giving everyday Queenslanders the confidence to step in and save a life.
Every compression counts — you can make a difference.
