Get ready! Oktoberfest is back and bigger than ever on the beautiful Capricorn Coast! Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25, and gather your crew, don your dindls and lederhosen, and raise your steins high for a full day of Bavarian-style celebration at Bell Park, Emu Park, from 11am to 10pm.

This is the original Oktoberfest on the Capricorn Coast now in its 40^th year. Hosted by the Lions Club of Emu Park it is a community favourite, bringing together music, dancing, delicious food, and a festive atmosphere for all ages.

Headlining this year’s event is the ever-popular Safe Sax, a high-energy group known for lighting up stages across the country. Safe Sax delivers a powerhouse performance spanning everything from traditional folk tunes to contemporary favourites.

Also taking the stage is local crowd-favourites Dawn and the Sax, with Peter Fields on guitar. Their soulful mix of R&B, jazz, pop, and rock will keep the vibe lively from start to finish.

Feast on classic German fare like sizzling sausages, warm pretzels, crispy kartoffelpuffers, and sweet treats including apfel strudel, bee sting cake, and more. Don't miss your chance to enjoy authentic imported German biers - served in traditional steins. Raise your glass and shout “Prost!” to good health and great times.

The Oktoberfest website includes event rules and transport schedules. Please plan transport and accommodation in advance for a safe and enjoyable experience. No BYO alcohol permitted due to strict licensing laws. Sealed water and approved diabetic drinks are allowed. Minors to be with an adult. Entry to licensed areas restricted to 18+ after 6:00 pm. Pass outs available.
