As the Central Queensland region gears up for the much-anticipated Beef24 event, Livingstone Shire Council is inviting residents and visitors alike to experience the essence of the Capricorn Coast at BEEF on the Reef: A Feast for all the Senses.
This unique event serves as a prelude to Beef24, offering a celebration of local flavours and tropical seaside vibes amidst the breathtaking backdrop of Cooee Bay's The Villa on the Beach.
Livingstone Shire Council is looking forward to welcoming the influx of visitors expected for Beef24, with accommodation providers on the Capricorn Coast at full capacity, as hundreds of thousands of people are expected to gather in the region.
This event provides a fantastic opportunity to not only showcase the high standard of quality local producers and business as part of Beef24, but to also bring the community together to connect and celebrate the vibrance and prosperity of the place we call home.
Taking place on Saturday, 4th May, starting at 11:30 am for a 12pm commencement, BEEF on the Reef aims to provide an unforgettable experience for attendees.
Upon arrival, guests will be welcomed with a complimentary signature cocktail or beer, setting the tone for an afternoon filled with culinary delights and entertainment.
The event will feature a three-course shared feasting lunch, showcasing products sourced from local producers and businesses.
In addition to indulging in delectable dishes, guests will have the opportunity to hear inspiring stories from local business owners, manufacturers, and producers.
Mark Davie from Keppel Brand, representatives from Reef Distillers and Crimson Finch, along with Jordan Slarke from Waterpark Farm are among the esteemed speakers expected to share their journeys and insights.
Entertainment will be provided by local performers, Australian Idol 2024 finalist Denvah and Golden Guitar Awards winner Brad Butcher, offering attendees the chance to personally meet these two talented musicians and hear about their remarkable journeys in the music industry.
There will be exciting lucky door prizes up for grabs, and all guests will receive a gift bag featuring an array of products synonymous with our region.
