Carols by the Beach Yeppoon is on Sunday, 15th December on the main beach. Enjoy market stalls, catering vans and amusement rides from 3pm with the main stage program starting at 5pm
The JRT Carols by the Beach in Yeppoon is a beloved annual event that brings the community together for a festive evening of music and celebration.
Held on the Yeppoon beachfront, this event features a variety of Christmas entertainment, including performances by local bands, singing groups, community choirs, and dancers.
The event kicks off at 3pm with market stalls, catering vans & amusement rides. At 5pm the official opening commences with a family-friendly atmosphere with plenty of seating on the grassy terraces and a picturesque view over Keppel Bay.
A highlight of the evening is the arrival of Santa Claus, who greets the crowd with a hearty “Ho! Ho! Ho!” and checks in on whether the children have been naughty or nice.
The event traditionally includes a rousing rendition of “Aussie Jingle Bells” to welcome Santa. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, pillows, and plenty of Christmas cheer to enjoy this magical night under the stars.
