Digital Media Officer

The Role
Do you have qualifications or experience in communications or corporate media? Are you experienced in the operation and management of multiple digital platforms? If so, this may be the job for you! This Digital Media Officer position will assist to promote council messages via digital platforms, including social media, website, bulk messaging, and engagement software. The position will be responsible for supporting the delivery of information, education and behavioural change programmes, tools, and products.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

Key criteria for you to be successful in this role:

  • Appropriate tertiary or vocational qualifications in communications, social sciences or related discipline, or sound industry experience in a relevant field such as corporate media or communications; and
  • Possess and maintain a current Queensland “C” Class motor vehicle drivers’ licence.
  • QLGIA (Stream A) Level 3 ($36.80 per hour); and
  • A supportive work environment.
