Livingstone Shire on show as CQ region celebrates Beef Australia 2018!

Livingstone Shire Council is once again thrilled to be part of one of the country’s biggest beef expos – Beef Australia 2018!

Mayor Bill Ludwig said as one of the world’s largest cattle industry events held right on our doorstep, this occasion provides the perfect opportunity to showcase the Capricorn Coast region and all that it has to offer.

“Livingstone Shire is one of the most highly productive beef producing regions in Australia, and Council is thrilled to be welcoming visitors of Beef Australia for this industry event to our region,” Mayor Ludwig said.
“This great event is also a fantastic opportunity to showcase Livingstone’s other great strengths in the tourism, business and industry sector, while also highlighting its potential for future economic growth and investment opportunities.

“Council is also delighted to extend a warm invitation to exhibitors, delegates and visitors to take time to enjoy the attractions on the Capricorn Coast and hinterland including the newly-opened Yeppoon Lagoon Precinct and Foreshore area.

“It’s also been great to see so many local Capricorn Coast businesses getting on board to help promote Beef Australia, with a number of shopfronts getting into the spirit as part of Council’s Beef themed Troppo Day Shop Local competition – the town is abuzz with excitement.

“Council is extremely proud to continue its support of Beef Australia, and Council encourages the community and businesses to show their support for this significant regional event.”
