Marlborough
Marlborough situated 105 kilometres north of
Rockhampton has approximately 80 residents who play an active part in
community life with organisations such as QCWA, Lions Club, SES, Rural
Fire Brigade, the Museum, and Pony Club.
In 1999 Marlborough celebrated the 10th
anniversity of Landcare. The township have their own Council swimming
pool adjacent to the Lions Park, a Primary School, Police and Ambulance.
Many stud cattle properties operate in the Marlborough area.
