Lioness Park (Scenic Highway,
Lammermoor)
This park is located
on the foreshore of Lammermoor Beach and offers beautiful ocean views
and refreshing breezes throughout the day. Facilities include electric
BBQ’s, picnic shelters and tables, disability access and toilets.

Main Beach Yeppoon
(Anzac Parade)
The
beachfront has recently been redeveloped and development will continue
in coming years. There are electric BBQ’s, all amenities and plenty
of shelters and picnic facilities. This is also the site of the "Spacenet".
The net is very popular with children of all ages and is seldom not
being used but there is lots of room. There is also excellent access
provided for all ages and abilities and includes access ramps to the
beach. A stage is situated above the beach and is the focal point for
many of the coasts celebrations including Australia Day. Yeppoon Surf
Lifesavers Club is situated on the main beach. Lifeguards patrol the
beach on weekends.

Beaman
Park is a small park in the centre of Yeppoon’s main business area.
There is shade, seating and toilet facilities.

Merv Anderson Park
(Appleton Drive, Yeppoon)
This
large parkland area is located south of Yeppoon Main Beach and is a
mooring site for local fishermen. The park has playground equipment
and is also the location of a market held on the first Sunday of every
month. It will be redeveloped in 2004-2005 financial year and will be
assisted by Yeppoon Lions Club in providing upgraded BBQ and picnic
facilities. Existing facilities include BBQ’s, picnic tables &
shelters, and a playground. Toilets also have disability access.

Rotary Park (Farnborough
Road, Yeppoon)
Situated
on the foreshore north of Yeppoons Main Beach, this park offers ocean
views, picnic tables, shelters, all amenities and wood fired bbq's.
Rotary Park is also being upgraded at the moment and Council is
working together with Yeppoon Rotary to provide more picnic and BBQ
facilities.

Appleton Park (Anzac
Parade, Yeppoon)
This is
a large park with plenty of shade trees and open space. The park
offers a shaded skate bowl. It has toilet facilities, picnic tables
and playground equipment. The park also has a mini bikeway for very
young children to enjoy.

Causeway Park
(Pinnacle Street, Causeway Lake)
The
park is situated on the Causeway Lake which is an ideal and safe spot
to spend a lazy Sunday fishing and picnicking with the children. There
is a coin operated bbq, plenty of shade trees, picnic tables and
playground equipment for children. The park has cement walkways built
to national equitable access standards and is located near a boat
ramp. Markets are held every second Sunday and proceeds go toward the
provision of public facilities.

Bell Park (Hill
& Pattison Streets, Emu Park)
This
large grassed parkland is located in Emu Park close to the Don Ireland
Swimming Pool. It has plenty of room to throw out a picnic rug under
the shade of a tree. The park also has a shaded skate park. Bell Park
is one of the most popular parks on the Capricorn Coast. It was
originally set aside as a botanic garden and is now listed on the
Queensland Heritage Register. On the third Sunday of every month Emu
Park Lions Club holds a crafts market here and raises funds for
community based projects in the town.

Peace Park (Tennent
Memorial Drive, Emu Park)
Here
are beautiful ocean views and the Singing Ship which is a local
tourist attraction. Peace Park is part of a larger precinct that
includes Kerr Park with a small forest of shady Hoop Pines and
recently installed electric BBQ’s. Emu Park Life Savers Clubhouse is
right across the road on the beachfront. Lifeguards patrol the beach
on weekends. There is ample beachfront parking, playgrounds and
amenities that provide access for all.

Schofield Park
(Schofield Parade, Keppel Sands)
This
park runs the full length of the esplanade at Keppel Sands. There are
BBQ’s, shelters, play equipment, amenities and a real village
atmosphere. There are boat ramps providing access to Coorooman and
Pumpkin Creeks. Keppel Sands was selected as the winner for Tidy Towns
Community Action Award in 2003.

The Caves Bicentennial Park (Barmoya Road, The Caves)
When
you are traveling north and you need a break to stretch your legs and
let the kids run off some excess energy, there is the Caves Lions Park
with some shaded seating, amenities and a small playground. Buch
Square in the centre of town is close to a shop and pub.

Yaamba & Districts Community
Park (Burns Street, Yaamba)
Further
north is the Yaamba Rest Area with amenities, small playground and
shaded seating. It is also close to a service station and a hotel. The
rest area is a Driver Reviver stop point on major holiday weekends.

Marlborough & Districts
Rodeo Grounds (Perkins Road, Marlborough)
Marlborough
is another ½ hour up the highway. Marlborough Lions maintain a small
park in the town which a couple of kilometers off the highway. The
park includes shelters, some play equipment and amenities.
