EMU PARK FORESHORE RESERVE TENURE PLAN

 

At its 26th November, 2003 General Meeting Council resolved as follows:

‘That:-

1 . The Emu Park Foreshore Planners final report titled ‘Emu Park Foreshores Reserve Tenure Plan’ be received as a public document.

2. The Emu Park Foreshore Planners be congratulated on their work and suggested outcomes of report

3. Correspondence be forwarded to NR&M confirming availability of funding under Coastal Acquisition Fund for survey costs, public advertisement costs for land tenure matters and waiving of registration fees

4. The recommendations of the report be supported

5. Provision be made in draft estimates for 04/05 and beyond to progress the recommendations

6. Aspects of the report impacting on the Master Plan for the Emu Park CBD be referred to Council's consultants for consideration in finalizing the master plan (thus subjecting recommendations to public consultation)

7. Council undertake a communications strategy advising the community of the report recommendations .

8. Council commences implementation of strategy components that have no budget impact in 03/04.’
