  1. Cap Coast Full Throttle! Human Powered Vehicle 8 Hour Race

    25 May, 7:00 AM - 26 May, 5:00 PM @ Barmaryee Multi Sport Precinct, Yeppoon

    The Human Powered Vehicle Challenge provides opportunities for students, teachers, parents and local industry to work together to design and construct a variety of human powered vehicles, solar powered machines and innovative robots that will represent the collaborative energy of teams across Australia. Participants examine and use the latest technology while considering its impact on the environment and the way people live locally and globally.

  2. Classics by the Coast Car Show

    All Classic Motor Club presents the hugely popular annual event, Classics by the Coast!     Yeppoon & District Kindergarten association's Teddy Bears Picnic is on Sunday 26th May at Daniel Park, Cooee Bay. Come along and enjoy entertainment, activities and market stalls.

  5. Youth Action Group

    29 May, 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ The Hub

    The Youth Action Group is a Council initiative that offers the opportunity for youth across the Shire to meet other enthusiastic and like-minded young people. The group is targeted towards anyone aged between 12 to 24 years who is interested in playing a role in decisions that affect young people and developing new skills. Meetings are held fortnightly (except during school holidays). To apply for the Youth Action Group, simply complete the linked application form and email it to the Community Development and Sport and Recreation team.
