    30 June, 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ The Mill Gallery

Especially for kids on the school holidays! This workshop at The Mill Gallery, Yeppoon is an introduction to the art of plaster casting and street art imagery. Participants will work with local artist Ainslie McMahon to create a clay mould then pour Plaster of Paris to produce a stunning individual wall plaque. Inspired by traditional coil hand building techniques, participants will learn about the properties of clay and mould their own wall plaque mould. Cool designs and imagery will be etched into the surface of the mould, plaster poured and then the finished plaque will be painted and glazed in vibrant colours ready to hang on the wall. Your workshop fee includes your 6 hour workshop, materials, morning and afternoon tea. Suits ages 7-17 years. The Regional Arts Development Fund is a Queensland Government through Arts Queensland and Livingstone Shire Council partnership to support local arts and culture.
