    Members of The Mill Gallery and the Cap Coast Textile Artists would like to invite you to the opening of their upcoming exhibition "An Avian Experience". View stunning images of our feathered friends by photographer Kevin Vins. Opens Saturday 4 July at 6:30pm at The Mill Gallery, Normanby Street, Yeppoon. Allan Briggs will open the exhibition. Alan is a well known local identity with a passion for birding and the environment. Light refreshments will be served at the opening. The exhibition continues until 31st July 2015.

    Members of The Mill Gallery and the Cap Coast Textile Artists would like to invite you to the opening of their upcoming exhibition "A touch of magic". View a beautiful new collection of fibre arts by Cap Coast Textile artists including Una Barnette and Noeline Machan with Margrete Lohne, Carol Nicholas, Sandra Purdie, Dot McCombe, Helen Beckinsale, Anni Simmons, Helen McKerrow, Daphne Barlow, Elly Philps, Rosemary Jewel and Sue Rohner. Opens Sunday 5 July at 2:30pm at The Mill Gallery. This Exhibition continues throughout July.

    Open to both emerging and established artists that reside outside of the Sydney metropolitan area. Any art form eligible - Residencies 10-12 weeks in length - Community development/engagement component required.

  4. St Ursula's College Winter Soiree

    St Ursula's College invite our community to attend an evening of music and art with catering by the Hospitality Department. Music will include jazz, flute, percussion and vocal ensembles plus some orchestral pieces that students will compete with at the upcoming Qld Catholic Schools Music Festival in August. The Arts department will showcase some of their finest works in an outdoor gallery whilst the Hospitality department serve dinner and drinks prior to the concert. (Dinner will be a choice of either Butter Chicken or Pumpkin Curry served in elegant bamboo boats.) Everyone is welcome, so bring your friends, neighbours and relatives and enjoy an evening out.

    Dry July is a not-for-profit organisation determined to improve the lives of adults living with cancer through an online social community giving up booze for the month of July. Whether joining as a part of a team or as an individual, participants take on the 31 days of July to raise funds and directly help adults living with cancer and their families to improve their quality of life.
