    Come along and enjoy the twilight market; find those last minute Christmas gifts; and then join the activity with the family at Carols in the Park. (Please note there will be no December morning market.)

  2. Canal Creek Memorial Service - 75th Anniversary

    The Canal Creek Air Crash Memorial site is located at Canal Creek within the Livingstone Shire local government area near The Caves. This memorial commemorates the air disaster that occurred in the 19 December 1943, where a military aircraft spun out of control before exploding mid-air. There were 31 service personnel on board from both the US Armed Forces and the Australian Defence Force, all of which unfortunately did not survive. The service will commence at 8:20am which was the time of the air crash disaster.

    The regular Bell Park Picnic Markets in December will change to a twilight market commencing at 3:00 pm, and will include Carols in the Park from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm.
