  1. "Snippets from the Front" Exhibition

    The Emu Park Gallery will be exhibiting the works of Ross Coulter "Snippets from the Front" as well as current artists work based on the theme of Anzac/war. These works will include paintings, drawings, printmaking, mosaic and sculptures on this theme.

    The Salvation Army are holding their annual Door Knock Appeal at the end of May. Please help by donating to this very worthy cause when you see their authorised volunteers door knocking or at the shopping complexes and remember every cent helps.

  4. Keppel Coast Girl Guides' Annual Hobby Horse Derby

    Keppel Coast Girl Guides Annual Hobby Horse Derby is on again with plenty of fun for the whole family. Stalls include food, drinks, cakes, and trash'n'treasure to name a few, with fantastic prizes to win in our raffle. There is a jumping castle, face painting and create-a-cupcake competition.   5. GenYadaba Open Day - a fun, social and environmentally focused event!

    Join GenYadaba for a day at Mulambin Beach! Meet the GenYadaba Crew and get involved. Activities include tree planting, live music by Aarron Symonds, Wildlife Encounters, discussion with local environmentalist Lorelle Campbell and a BBQ lunch!

  6. "Beef to Beach" celebrating Queensland Week

    Let’s Celebrate! On Sunday 31 May 2015, Livingstone Shire Council will host Beef to Beach Event to kick-off and celebrate Queensland Week at Bell Park, Emu Park. Bring the whole family down to Bell Park at 2pm for an afternoon of fun including free entertainment and rides, market stalls, Queensland-themed food vendors and a Big Beef BBQ hosted by Emu Park State School and the Emu Park Lions Club.   2. Byfield Markets

    Our Market is an opportunity for all to experience locally grown produce, potted herbs and plants, hand made art, craft, jewellery and much more. Affordable activity stalls are available to entertain the kids making it an even more pleasant day for everyone! Held annually by the Byfield State School P&C Association generously assisted by the Byfield Bush Cafe. This popular Market is the P&C's major fundraiser which aides in supporting the children of Byfield State School. The sausage sizzle, 100's boards and stall holder fees all contribute to the money raised for the P&C on the day.
