The Livingstone Shire Council / Keppel Bay Sailing Club / Inverness Yeppoon Community Grants Scheme is Council’s funding program that enables community groups and sporting clubs to undertake a project / event to meet identified needs in the community
The purpose of the Community Grants Scheme is to support the well-being and enhance the development of strong local communities within the Livingstone Shire. The funding program provides up to $2000.00 for not-for-profit community and sporting clubs to complete a project / item (within the Livingstone Shire) that benefits benefit residents and improve overall community wellbeing.
The Community Grants Scheme offers assistance to incorporated, not-for-profit community and sporting groups across the Livingstone Shire. Applicants must be incorporated or supported by an auspice organisation.
Applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and be operating out of the Livingstone Shire Council's Local Government Area providing services or activities that benefit residents and improve overall community well-being.
Past funded projects / events / have included provision of specialized Riding Equipment, Purchase of racing blocks for Emu Park Swimming Club, repairs to barbeque area, set of goal posts for Barmaryee fields, upgrade to men’s amenities, electrical up grade and reroof kitchen attached to hall; just to name a few!
