Council processes various different types of development applications. We've provided numerous fact sheets and checklists to help you understand the application process and ensure you provide all of the necessary information when lodging your application.

Development & Town Planning Advice

Exempt Development

Demolition 
The Building Act 1975 covers extensively building development applications for a demolition approval or removal approval. The Act requires a demolition approval or a removal approval to be issued prior to the commencement of any defined building works. 
 
Making a Submission on a Development Proposal
