The Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF) is a partnership between state and local governments which invests in quality arts and cultural experiences across Queensland based on locally determined priorities.
RADF 2018-19 promotes the significance and value of arts, culture and heritage as the key to:
Supporting diversity and inclusivity;
Growing stronger regions; and
Provide training, education and employment opportunities for Queensland artists and local communities.
Financial assistance is offered to individuals and organisations for:
• Individual Professional Development (open all year) • Skills Development Workshops • Creative Development of New Work • Cultural Tourism - Projects which focus on Identity & Heritage • Exhibitions & Collections/Stories • Regional Partnerships - For Collaborative Innovative Arts Projects • Concept Development – Research and Development Stage • Arts Events & Performances
Date for the 2018-2019 Funding Round 2 is as follows: Open - 21 January 2019 Closes - 25 February 2019 For projects starting after 1 April 2019
From August 2018, Livingstone Shire Council RADF will be administered through the Smarty Grants software programme (online applications only).
SmartyGrants is an online grants management system that is widely used for grants distribution by Local Governments and State Governments throughout Australia.This system ensures that grants are distributed with the highest level of transparency and accountability.

Regional Arts Development Fund acknowledgement requirements.
Arts Queensland is Livingstone Shire Council's partner in the Regional Arts Development Fund (RADF). In media releases, speeches, annual reports, newsletters, any printed promotional material, signage, websites and emails related to this funded project, a RADF recipient must acknowledge the funding by writing or saying the following, "The Regional Arts Development Fund is a partnership between the Queensland Government and Livingstone Shire Council to support local arts and culture in regional Queensland".
